At Delta Church, we are a community rooted in the love of God and dedicated to transformation through Christ. We believe every person is on a unique life journey, and the moment you give your life to Jesus, that journey becomes one of renewal, growth, and purpose.
We are a vibrant family of hope-filled believers who value “doing life together.” At the center of our gatherings is the pursuit of God’s presence—where lives are changed, faith is strengthened, and destinies are released.

Gerhard and Melinda Roodt, our senior pastors are leading with hearts full of faith, vision, and love for people. Together, they serve as the backbone of our church family—dedicated to guiding, supporting, and inspiring us to grow in Christ and live out His purpose every day.
Their passion for God and people shines through everything they do, making Delta Community Church not just a place of worship, but a home where everyone belongs.
D – Development
We believe that anointed Bible based teaching results in transformed lives. We therefore actively pursue a lifelong process of spiritual growth through prayer, worship and Bible Study. We believe that it should be normal for every believer to be chasing after total devotion to Christ and His cause.
E – Empower
We believe that every Christ follower has unique gifts and should seek their place of service within the local church to build the Kingdom.
L – Love
We believe that people matter to God and therefore ought to matter to the church. We believe that every facet of our life should be based on mutual relationships of love, care, accountability, respect, humility and representation. In living exemplary lives based on integrity, we honour God through a spirit of excellence in everything we do. We believe that we should mirror Christ’s love to the world and inspire people to do likewise.
T – Together
We believe that life change happens best in small groups where Christ followers can be real, where their needs can be met and where they will receive ministry in an atmosphere of trust, support and total unconditional acceptance as part of a covenant relationship.
A – Abundance
We believe that everything we have belongs to God. As such we desire to be responsible stewards of God’s financial resources, and we know that this principle extends to every area of our lives, our time, families, gifts and bodies.
